Entropro ORS offers The outer pack containing oral rehydration salts and the inner pack contains a mixture of prebiotics and probiotics, manufactured using Japanese Technology. The Oral Rehydration salts in Entropro ORS are in a concentration as recommended by WHO. ORS is administered in Rotaviral diarrhoea to balance the fluid loss and help manage mild to moderate dehydration. Probiotic bacteria which is present in the Entropro ORS, namely lactobacillus sporogenes and three functional prebiotic bacteria namely Streptococcus faecalis T-110, Clostridium butyricum TOA and Bacillus mesentericus TOA, which after ingestion, multiply in the G.I. tract and produce a prebiotic nutrient which is responsible for rapid multiplication of the indigenous Bifidobacteria sps. present in the gut. This helps in restoring the normal flora of the G.I. tract (predominated by Lactobacillus sps. and Bifidobacteria sps.) and thereby reduce the duration of shedding of the Rotavirus.
